Hi, I’m Tay. She/her
I’m a Buffalo-based photographer who believes the best photos come from feeling comfortable enough to be yourself. Before photography, I spent nearly a decade behind the chair as a hairstylist, helping people feel confident, seen, and at home in their own skin. Photography became an extension of that same work — documenting people as they are, in moments that matter.
I photograph couples, families, and love in all its forms, with a focus on connection over perfection. The quiet glances, the laughter you didn’t plan for, the in-between moments that feel real and unfiltered. My approach is relaxed and intuitive, creating space for you to show up without pressure or posing that doesn’t feel like you.
This is a queer-affirming, judgment-free space. I work best with people who value authenticity, warmth, and storytelling — those who want their photos to feel lived-in, emotional, and honest rather than stiff or overly curated.
Photography, to me, isn’t about creating something trendy. It’s about preserving how a moment felt. Whether it’s the comfort of chosen family, the ease between partners, or the simple beauty of everyday life, I’m there to document it in a way that feels natural and true.
When I’m not photographing, you’ll usually find me exploring with my dogs, planning my next adventure with my wife, working behind the chair
or sitting with an iced coffee dreaming up future sessions.
If you’re here, you’re probably looking for more than just pretty pictures. You want photos that feel like you — and I’d love to help tell your story in a way that’s honest, meaningful, and deeply personal.
Let’s create something real together.
